  This is a gorgeous spot if you time it right, and if you time it wrong then you may come away sorely disappointed. Chances are you're coming here to see the bowling ball rocks on the beach, so you need the time it at very low tide. Check the tide charts and come when low tide is at its lowest. If you come expecting to see the bowling balls during high tide you will be sorely disappointed. If that's the case, please do not leave negative reviews simply because you came here at the wrong time. Just understand that the bowling balls on this beach only appear during low tide, very similar to the Neskowin Ghost Forest on the Oregon coast. So you need to make sure you plan your trip to this beach accordingly. Assuming you planned your trip accordingly and you came at low tide, you won't be disappointed. The bowling balls are awesome and it's quite the the scene when everything lines up correctly. It can be a little tricky to get down here for some, but it's worth it.
